ranpass is a perl script that one of my fellow admins wrote. It's a perl
script that's about 90 lines long, but many of those lines are devoted to
switches that let you limit the character set of the passwords, their
length, etc. He is happy to share it with anyone interested; email me
off-list if you'd like the source (for this project, or for any other :) .
