Try downloading using the normal serial port. I was getting timeout errors using the SER-001 port with PocketMoney on my PC. I ended up getting a replacement SER-001 from PCBMAN. Please note that I was also getting a garbage printout when I tried to print to my Canon BJ-80.

With the replacement SER-001, PM downloads and printing are now working fine.
