You know, I was going to stay out of this conversation
because I really couldn't wrap the idea in an easy to
digest word play. But this email describes exactly my
sentiments. What makes the Newton innovative is that
from the ground up, it was designed to be an
assistant. It wasn't a desktop peripheral, it wasn't a
sometimes device (sometimes you use it, sometimes you
don't) And unlike everything else that came before it
and after it, it has no real specific purpose. It is
what you make it to be! That's the cool part. You
determine how you're going to use your Newt. No
boundries. That's what I want to see in the future.
How seamless integration? Precognitive maintenance of
your daily activities. Automatic detection of emotion
through galvanic response. Detection of emotions and
responding to them...
Who knows...
