Well, looking at the MacOS for Newton, I get the feeling that we are
dealing with somebody who has a sense of humor and can use Photoshop well.
I am doubtful that Apple would've ported MacOS to the strongarm. The
effort invovled would be significant and it wouldn't run any useful
software. The likelihood of getting a PPC chip to merely not melt the
case would have been low.
Also, the likelihood of Apple producing _two_ MacOS-based handhelds is
very low. I think we're dealing with Photoshopped mock-ups here. I would
love to be proven wrong, and I don't see any obvious defects in the
images. Perhaps they are mock-ups running a fake OS.
They are definitely old because Apple no longer uses the multi-colored
logo; if they haven't shipped yet, and they did exist, they're gone now :(
