I suppose it depends on where and how you use your MessagePad. I've never had any
contrast problems while using WriteRights.

Danger lurks around every corner: I started using a screen protector after I accidentally
dropped the end of the Newton Keyboard cable, with the Interconnect Port Adapter
attatched...the corner struck the screen and put a small nick in it. That sold me on screen
protection.
