The thing about the ROMs from Palm is that they are mainly designed for
development. The specific difference that I know is they handle error
conditions differently from actual Palm unit ROMs. They give debugging code
instead of working around an error (like actual Palm ROMs would).
The gist is, people wanting to use a Palm emu for day-to-day work would
still have to get a ROM from a Palm unit.
