Well, (get ready for rant, and shameless plug)
Outlink
-------
In My Humble Opinion - Outlink is beta software. Doesn't handle non-north
american date format, loses contacts etc. In summary it's quick... but it's
useless.
Lookout
-------
Slow, cumbersome, requires too much user interaction BUT doesn't delete your
data so is actually very useful. Not officially available anymore. Demo
available that expires in 20 odd days; although if you visit... NO! Last
time I went down that route I got flamed by the son of God himself - Mr
Wisdom - David Humphreys.
So there you have it.
I am using LookOut at present. I only use it very occasionaly as I tend to
put my schedules and to-do's straight onto my Newt along with my contacts.
Also, neither program will synchronize your notes - the most important thing
to me. For that - and here's the plug - you need Notes2Notes
(http://newted.dyndns.org/users/bsmith/). Why not give it a try? It's free
after all :-)
I'd be interested to hear other peoples experiences, particularly with
Outlink (no one else seems to hate it as much as I do).
