Are you sure Dan ? I know this is true for ButtonBarPlus but I used SartBar
in conjunction with NewtCase for a long time (not anymore) and never
encountered any problems.

That would only be true for ButtonBarPlus, StartBar doesn't interfere with
the button bar area.
