Hello,
I have started using a Newton 2000 about 6months ago. I use my Newton
everyday and rely on it for all my work activities.
However, over the course of a few weeks, I have begun experiencing problems
writing. Specifically, as I describe a letter, the 'ink' seems to run off and
make its own shape. This is making very difficult to clearly define the shape
of any single letter. Handwriting recognition is, as a result of this, barely
functioning.
I have tried software, system, and hardware resets ( by leaving the batteries
out for at least twenty minutes as is described in page 230 of my manual) to
no avail.
Being now at a loss, I am hoping somebody will be able to help me, as again,
all my work relevant information is on my Newton and it is critical that I be
able to work with it.
